Montessori Academy of Chambersburg compiles a wish list of items that the school would like to have sponsored and/or donated. Recycle For Education
Fundraising and recycling, together at last! Finally, a great way to raise money for our school — and teach kids the importance of recycling at the same time. It's Staples Recycle for Education. Staples® will donate $3 directly to our school for every eligible ink or toner cartridge we collect.
Our student council collects cartridges. The money is split between the student council for school activities, MAPO for school activities and Penn State Children's Hospital Children's Miracle Network in Hershey. Last year the students took a trip/tour of the hospital and gave a check to the hospital for $377.00. So please remind your family, friends, parents and fellow students to save their cartridges and drop them off at the school throughout the year.

We also participate in other beneficial fundraising programs in the local area. Giant's A+ program rewards us at the end of each year based on the shopping that you do there. All you need to do to help is register your Giant Card here. We also participate in the Box Tops for Education program. You can help by simply cutting the box top cutouts off the everyday products you already use. Check out this site for more information. Each Box Top is worth 10¢ to us and they add up quickly. Silent Auction
Each year on the second Saturday in November, Montessori Academy of Chambersburg hosts their annual “Evening of Elegance” with a Live Auction and Silent Auction.
Each year, dozens of local businesses contribute gifts and donations to be auctioned at the event. There are multiple advertising opportunities for businesses. Tickets to attend the event can be obtained by calling (717) 261-1110.
Scholastic Book Fair – Fall and Spring

Twice per year, Montessori Academy hosts a Scholastic Book Fair. This event is open to the public so bring a friend! All books are brand new – from easy readers (toddlers) through upper reading levels: Scholastic books, best sellers, CDs, school supplies, novelty items, posters, audio books, work and play books for children of all ages.
